Sonny the Camper is a 1966 Frolic, a travel trailer produced in Elkhart, Indiana. Julia bought Sonny locally in Durham, NC. Unfortunately Sonny had some serious structural damage upon purchase, and the first Radical Repair that Julia has undertaken has been a major overhaul of this adorable camper! We decided to take out the gas and water lines and associated appliances in order to make more room inside for the Radical Repair Workshop. There is still an electricity hookup and now lots of space! Below are some before, during, and after pictures of Sonny’s transformation.
